Jennifer Lange is a full-time instructor in the Biological Sciences Department of Chabot College in Hayward, CA who has been teaching undergraduate human anatomy for over 20 years. She holds an B.S. and an M.S. in Physiological Science from UCLA and an M.A. in Curriculum and Teacher Education from Stanford University, and she is currently a doctoral student in Kent State University's Interprofessional Leadership Ed.D. Program. She is fascinated by how the complex systems of nature seem to work so effortlessly and is passionate about figuring out how to simply explain the human body and making this knowledge relevant to students interested in health care careers.

Cheri Calcagno - Author
Cheri Calcagno is a college health and biological sciences instructor as well as a health educator specializing in disease prevention, weight management, and behavioral modification. She holds a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology, emphasis in Exercise Physiology, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, emphasis in Exercise, Nutrition, and Wellness, in addition to continuing education in the field of psychology focusing on the science of change, positive psychology, and mental wellness. Professor Calcagno is a San Francisco Bay Area native with the mission to educate future health professionals and equip first-generation, underrepresented students to pursue careers in health, medicine, and science.

Mark Schaeffer is an emeritus faculty member at Chabot College, where he guided the college's Digital Media program from its inception in 2003 until 2016. He holds a B.A. from Princeton University, and is the author of several books for Peachpit Press and Adobe Press. He currently works independently in image editing, video post-production, and motion graphics.
Sophia Elizondo - Illustrator
Sofia Elizondo is passionate about the intersections of healthcare and graphic design. She is a Graphic Design Associate at Heller Agency which specializes in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space. Previously she was honored to be a UX Design Apprentice at BRIDGEGOOD over the summer of 2023. Through her time there she learned to create social change by working with teams to research, understand, and design for the needs of emerging creatives. At the nonprofit, she worked on projects to embody the BRIDGEGOOD motto #DesignForSocialGood by making web and mobile applications that were accessible and inclusive. She enjoys using her creativity to design experiences that help people feel inspired and confident in themselves.
