Option 2a: Your house has special rooms equipped with special devices or equipment to accomplish a given purpose. For example, to live me must eat, sleep, clean ourselves, maintain our hair, nails, teeth, skin, relax, learn, socialize etc. What rooms in the house are designated for each? What equipment helps accomplish this. A phagocyte must destroy and dispose of old cells and waste. Does our garbage disposal and trash can serve a similar purpose? Yes. Continue this analogy in your house or apartment.
Option 2b: In a company, depending on what it does or how big it is has various departments or personnel which perform specific functions needed for the company to accomplish its overall function. Some executives might include a CEO, CFO, COO, Chief Science Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and people in sales, accounting, promotion, IT, etc. State the overall function of your company then mention what a department or person does and how it fits in to the overall goal/function of the company.
Make a table with the department name as a column, the components of that department, and what is does as a third column make work well. You may just write it out or form a flow chart.
