We performed a tandem walk in three ways for this one. Maxing out would be at least 10 steps. Enter the number of steps you could under each condition.

1. Could you stand when looking up and twirling your head? What systems of balance were compromised when you did this?
2. What system(s) needs to “kick in” when you closed your eyes?
3. Do you think yoga or something like this could improve your balance?
4. Do you get seasick? Why do some people get seasick?
5. What systems are involved when someone get seasick? (Look it up)
6. What happened to balance as we progressed from normal stance, to one leg? What changed?
7. What element was added with the tandem walk? What difficulties does TW conditions did you have? Did the TW eyes closed condition feel “comfortable”? Why or why not?
8. What part of the brain is used for balance, coordination, and complex movements?
