Marion rose white (1982) directed by Garry Rusoff. This film is a fictional depiction of the true story of Marion Rose White—a young girl who was committed to an institution for the feebleminded at age nine, forcibly sterilized, and released from the psychiatric institution at age thirty-two. The black stork (1917) directed by Leopold Wharton and Theodore Wharton. This film (also referred to as “Are You Fit to Marry?”) is a fictional retelling of Dr. Harry J. Haiselden’s interaction with Anna Bollinger following the birth of her son, “Baby Bollinger” who was born with paralysis on the left side of his body, brain damage (which was discovered later), and a severely curved spine (which was the potential cause of his right ear being connected or fused with his right shoulder).
